Help the Flower City stay even more true to its name by joining the second* 2010 Rochester Blossoms! volunteer event, on October 2. On this day, community and neighborhood groups and individual volunteers will plant thousands of flowers throughout Rochester's parks and public spaces.
Registration is required. Submit registration forms to City Horticulturalist Michael Warren Thomas by U.S. mail to 400 Dewey Avenue, Rochester 14613; by fax to 428-6021; or by email to thomasmi@cityofrochester.gov.
Those interested are encouraged to call 428-8820 or 703-9237 early to discuss planting locations with Michael.
