City of Rochester
News Release
(Thursday, July 15, 2010) - The 2010-2011 City property tax bills have been mailed out to all property owners who do not have escrow arrangements with their mortgagee. Residential property owners who have not received their tax bill are urged to notify the City’s Tax Information Office at 428-6940, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Property owners are responsible for paying their taxes on time, regardless of whether or not they received their tax bill.
The first installment of the 2010-2011 City property tax bills must be paid by July 31, 2010 to avoid interest penalties. If the first installment has not been paid by that date, interest penalties will begin to accrue.
